ROCK-A-THON!!!!
Dear Parents and Students,
Announcing the CCMS Band Rock-A-Thon!
Where? – The CCMS Cafeteria
When? – From 10:00 P.M. Friday, March 25th to 6:00 A.M. Saturday, March 26th
Why? – To have fun together and raise funds for the band!
The students will be well supervised throughout the event. Students are to bring a rocking chair with them, or they may not participate. Television sets and DVDs will be provided, please do not bring your own! Students will rock 50 minutes out of every hour and then have 10 minutes for a break and to get snacks. Yes, you may bring your own snacks, if you wish.
We ask the students to collect pledges from friends and family ($1 an hour per pledge) and we are asking the students to try to get 10 pledges each. A minimum of 5 pledges is required to participate. Pledge sheets are due to the band office by Wednesday, March 23rd. Pledge money is due to the school office the same day.
We are taking parent volunteers for supervision and to provide snacks for the students. Please call or write to us if you are able to assist us! We need help from all parents! Trip chaperones, this is a GREAT way to get to know some of the students and other parents!
