Dear parents,

I wanted to say a huge "Thank You!" to everyone who helped us this week! 

On Tuesday morning, I really thought I had a bad case of the flu. With an extraordinary amount of items to get done to keep the middle school band going this week, I sent out a call for help.

The response was overwhelming! I am so grateful for all of the assistance with the cheesecake and uniform records to moving equipment to helping in the concession stand to feeding the band to getting the truck to the lending of equipment to giving water to the band to getting all the equipment back in the band room and put away -- all of it. I am sure I have forgotten many items to be thankful for, but be assured I am grateful for all of the help.

There is much more to do today, but with the two major performances finished, I can concentrate on the paperwork.

I hope each of you has the restful weekend you deserve.
